The doctor put a plaster on her leg and owing to the severe injury advised her to rest for 21 days. However, Aakanksha resumed shooting the very next day with full support from the cast and crew, including Ajay Devgn himself who ensured that the actress was comfortable throughout the shoot. “Aakanksha came back to shoot just a day after her plaster was put on, and Ajay Devgn was very supportive of his costar. He helped her get off the wheelchair and even held her from one side while walking into the set. Ajay even got the shoot sequence changed to ensure that Aakanksha was comfortable shooting in her plaster. To lighten the mood, Ajay even said ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ when Aakanksha’s wheelchair was being lifted up, and he made sure that the day went smoothly for her which was a very sweet gesture from his side,” shares a source.
Speaking about resuming shoot post her injury, Aakanksha says, “Yes, unfortunately, I had an injury, but I feel blessed to be working with such a great team. Ajay sir really went out of his way to ensure that I am comfortable and made arrangements for the same when I decided to return to shoot the very next day. He is a gem of a person and I feel fortunate to work with him, and hope I get many more opportunities to work with him in the future.”
