In the video shared by Rahul’s fan club, he can be seen singing ‘Subhanallah’ and being applauded by none other than the late Sridevi, who is seen with her young daughter, Janhvi Kapoor.
For the uninitiated, Rahul had first gained fame with his participation in singing reality show, Indian Idol, where he was the second runner-up.

In the house, Rahul has made headlines for his fights with television couple Abhinav Shukla and Rubina Dilaik recently. They fought over a task in which Rahul called Abhinav ‘nalla’ and Rubina ‘nalasopara ka rani’.
Not just his fights, Rahul also proposed to his girlfriend Disha Parmar on national television. In fact, he waited for several weeks for Disha to respond to his proposal. And it’s only recently that his mom confirmed exclusively to Etimes TV that Rahul and Disha will in all likelihood tie the knot in June.
She had revealed, “When Rahul came from the show mid-way, Disha had also come to meet us. After that she also came to meet us a few times. I have spoken to her mom also. So, we have finalised everything and done preparations. We are waiting for Rahul to come out, then will decide and finalise the dates.”
She had added, “Disha doesn’t want to get married in summer, so mostly we will have a June wedding.”
