This year, the festival will be in a hybrid format with health and safety restrictions in place. Around 200 people will be attending the opening and closing ceremony, physically.
An official says, “This year is going to be a perfect example of balancing the physical and virtual. The spirit of how cinema has fought coronavirus is going to be reflected at IFFI. It would be all about caution, care, protection and of course, entertainment. People are enthused and both physical and virtual registration numbers are quite high.”
