“I was just about to fly back to my home at that point. The institutional facility and the medical care was good, but it takes a toll on you mentally and physically. I’m so happy I’ve tested negative now,” says Laxmi, who is back in the country now.
She recently took to her social media to share a picture of her arm with a medical belt around it, and captioned it, “Times have changed. We all hope for negative results instead of positive (sic).” “I was anxious,” she says with a laugh, “There are still some symptoms. Like, I haven’t completely gotten my sense of smell back. But I’m recovering.”
