will soon be seen in his second Hindi film, which will be directed by Andhadhun’s director Sriram Raghavan. Vijay Sethupathi, who is making his Bollywood debut with Mumbaikar, directed by Santhosh Shivan is expected to play the lead role in the Sriram Raghavan
, which will also have Katrina Kaif
as the leading lady. Though there is no official announcement about the movie and the cast, people in the know says that the project is confirmed. Known for making path-breaking and successful thrillers, Sriram Raghavan’s Andhadhun
was one of the most successful films in 2018. The same is now being remade in Tamil with Prashanth
in the lead. The movie titled Andhagan, will be directed by JJ Fredrick of Ponmagal Vandhal fame and Simran plays the female lead.
When it comes to experimenting with roles, Vijay Sethupathi, is leaving no stone unturned and has been taking up projects that feature him as hero, villain and character artiste. While he plays a powerful antagonist in Vijay’s Master, which is releasing for Pongal, he plays a cameo in Kadaisi Vivasayi directed by M Manikandan. While his Tughlaq Durbar and Laabam have completed shooting, he has finished one schedule of Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal by Vignesh Shivan starring Samantha and Nayanthara. Vijay Sethupathi is also doing a Malayalam movie 19(1)(a), directed by debutant Indu and the movie’s heroine is Nithya Menen.
