Alok had won Rs. 20,000 with the help of one lifeline in the last episode and Big B resumed the game with Rs 40,000 question. Alok Kumar Sharma answered next back-to-back questions without help of any lifeline and proved his intelligence. He used his next lifeline flip the question for Rs 3,20,000 and answered it correctly. The next question for Rs 6,40,000 was presented before Alok Kumar which was: Who is the first Union Minister to be commissioned in the Territorial Army? and the correct answer was Sachin Pilot. He answered it accurately and won the amount.
During his conversation with Mr Bachchan, Alok Kumar Sharma shared few of his family members are in Army and CRPF and hence he was inclined to join the armed forces. Big B recollected an incident about his father Shri Harivansh Rai Bachchan and shared, “During my father’s time when he would teach at the university, India was ruled by the Britishers. Back then in Allahabad University, a UOTC was formed and staff had to take take the experience and training of Army also. So, his father would go do both. His father then added a line in his poem about it.”
Mr Bachchan recited a poem from his father’s poetry, “Main Kalam aur bandook chalata hoon dono, duniya mein aise bande bahut kum paaye jaate hain…”
Alok took the help of “Ask The Expert’ lifeline to answer the next question for Rs 12,50,000 and managed to win the amount.
The question for the same was: What record does James Connolly hold in the history of the modern Olympic Games? And the options were: A) First to light Olympic flame B) First champion C) First black athlete D) First to win four golds
And the correct answer was: B) First champion.
When Big B read the question for Rs 25,00000, Alok Kumar Sharma had a big smile and he comfortably answered the question without taking any help. The question was: In which country did Dr. Gaurav Sharma swear in Sanskrit when he was elected as an MP? And the answer was New Zealand.
As Big B presented the question for Rs 50,00000, Alok used his last lifeline ‘Video Call A Friend’ as he got stuck on the question. His friend was also not aware of the answer and he decided to quit the show with Rs 25,00000. The question was: Who was granted a patent in 1824 for the invention of “Portland cement”? And the options were: A) Joseph Aspdin B) Albertus Magnus C) Louis Agassiz D) Ludwig Boltzmann
The correct answer was: A) Joseph Aspdin
Next to win the Fastest Finger First and make it to the hot seat was Anuj Kumar Mahato, an electrician from Kolkata, West Bengal. As he sat on the hot seat, he shared that he had answered all the Fastest Finger First questions in the last two-three episodes correctly but could not win them as he was behind by few seconds. He was so disappointed that when he got a call from his mother, he did not speak to her nicely. During his introduction, Anuj shared that he is an electrician and works on daily wages. He gets paid Rs 776 per day. He feels that the payment that he gets for his job is very less to run a six people family in a city like Kolkata. He has been working since the age of 20.
His parents still work at this age and he feels bad that he is not able to give them a relaxed life. They still have to work to meet the family’s requirements. He has come on KBC 12 to earn money and give a good life to his family. Anuj got emotional while talking to Big B and revealed that his mother deserves a much better life than this and he is not able to give her that. Amitabh told the audience that Anuj’s father met with a horrific accident and was on bed for two years and Anuj and his mother had to take care of the family. His mother started selling vegetables and he started working.
Big B started the game with Anuj and he swiftly answered the first few questions. Anuj narrated how he became a electrician and he shared that he took Rs 100 from his friend to fill the form for the exams.
Anuj has won Rs 20,000 and Big B will continue to the game in the next episode.
