Kollywood celebs praise Ashwin, Vihari for their batting efforts to draw the match

Indian players Ravichandran Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari, pulled off a thrilling draw against Australia in the third Test match in Sydney. And social media has been buzzing since the match ended on a draw and praises have been showered on both the players for showing grit that ensured that the team didn’t go down. Our Kollywood celebrities, too, some of them, like Siddharth and Vikram Prabhu, who are cricket fans, have taken to their social media page to congratulate both the players.

One of the first celebs to have shared his thoughts and praised Team India was actor Siddharth. “Test cricket is a blessing. What a fightback. This felt more like a win than a draw. Brilliant #TeamIndia. #INDvAUS (sic).” And the actor went on to address Ashwin, a legend. This is what he Siddharth had to say about Ashwin, “You’re a legend @ashwinravi99. What quality, class, grit and that never say die attitude. You’re my Man of this Match. #Legend nee. Avalodhaan machi. LEGEND. (sic).”

Soon, other celebs too, started tweeting. Actor Bharath said it was pure resilience and said he felt proud about the duo – Ashwin and Vihari. What Harish Kalyan had to say about this was, ‘Hats off to #Team India for showing such character and grit’. And in Vikram Prabhu’s social media post, he called Ashwin, tough and talented. He wrote, “Your performance today has shown how tough n talented you are @ashwinravi99 brother (sic).” He added, “@hanumavihari watching you fight it out in the middle was nothing short of magical. @RishabhPant17 superb innings!
