With the CM Pinarayi Vijayan agreeing to the major demands and concerns put forward by the film bodies in Kerala, the cinema halls are gearing to reopen after a 10 months long hiatus. And the hope of films releasing on the big screens is blossoming. Director Kannan Thamarakkulam has announced the release date of his film ‘Maradu 357
’. The film will be hitting the screens on 19 February! ‘Maradu 357’ is inspired by the real incident of flat demolition in Kochi’s Maradu
and the team had completed the shooting prior to the pandemic. The post-production works were carried out towards the end of 2020, when the government offered relaxations.
The film features Anoop Menon in the lead role, while Manoj K Jayan, Sheelu Abraham, Sarayu, Sudheesh, Kailash, and Dharmajan Bholgatty will be essaying some of the pivotal characters.
Director Kannan Thamarakkulam announced the release date through his social media handle. “Dear friends, With a ton of happiness

Helmed by Kannan Thamarakulam, ‘Maradu 357’ is based on a real incident. The screenplay was crafted by Dinesh Pallath and Ravi Chandran has cranked the lens. VT Sreejith is the editor and 4 music is handling the music department for ‘Maradu’. Abraham Mathew of Abaam movies is producing the film.
