Nora Fatehi reveals she is not a trained dancer, says she learnt dancing by practicing on her own

Nora Fatehi has been burning the dance floors with her sizzling song numbers in films of late. The actress, who is known for her impeccable dancing skills, has songs like, ‘O Saki Saki’, ‘Dilbar’ and others to her credit.

In an interview with a news portal, Nora recently revealed that she is not a trained dancer and that she learnt by practicing on her own. Nora said that she did a lot of research and never really focused on one genre of dance or one style of music or language or culture. She always wanted to have variety and diversity in her learning. So, she was heavily inspired by them.

Nora also added that she would lock herself in a room and move in front of the mirror and see certain movements they would do and would try and repeat it over and over again until she got it right.

Nora took inspiration from international icons across the globe and followed legendary performers like Shakira, Madhuri Dixit, Beyonce, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez as well as Turkish belly dancer Didem.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Nora was last seen in Remo D’Souza’s ‘Street Dancer 3D’. The movie starred Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. It received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
