After 23 years of filmmaking, Selvaraghavan tries his hand at acting

Selvaraghavan is one of the skilled directors in the industry, and his unique way of direction has a separate fan base. Selvaragahavan started his career as a writer for his father Kasthuri Raja directorial ‘Thulluvadho Ilamai‘, which also marked the acting debut of his brother Dhanush. Since then Selvaragahvan has directed several entertaining films and also produced a film. After 23 years of being a filmmaker, Selvaraghavan now has added a new feather to his cap and has taken up acting as he began shooting for ‘Saani Kaayidham‘ from today.

Selvaraghavan has shared a picture with his fans before starting up this new journey. In reply, the ace filmmaker received wishes from the fans to succeed in his new avatar as an actor. Selvaraghavan will be sharing the screen space with National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh in ‘Saani Kaayidham’, and they will be reportedly seen as robbers in the film.

‘Saani Kaayidham’, which is directed by Arun Matheswaran, will have music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while the cinematography is handled by Yamini Yagnamurthy. The film is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment and an interesting first look poster was launched by Dhanush earlier.
