Anirudh Ravichander to compose music for Ram Charan-Shankar film?

It’s a known fact that Ram Charan has teamed up with director Shankar for his 15th film. South Korean actress Bae Suzy has reportedly been signed to play a crucial role in the upcoming pan-Indian multilingual science-fiction project. Rashmika Mandanna has been approached to play the female lead opposite Ram Charan in the film. There was a lot of buzz regarding the new cast of the movie. The project was officially announced on February 13 to coincide with the 50th production venture of Sri Venkateswara Creations.

According to a report carried by a news portal, the makers of RC 15 are likely to rope in young music director Anirudh Ravichander to compose the soundtrack of the magnum opus. Anirudh has previously composed music for films such as Master, Darbar, Petta, Gang Leader, Jersey, Maari and Kaththi and proved that he can do justice to larger than life projects. Many feel, he is the right choice for the upcoming film. The film is scheduled to go on floors sometime in April. More details regarding the complete cast and crew will be announced soon.

Ram Charan is going through some troubled waters as his last outing, Vinaya Vidheya Rama didn’t exactly set the box-office ringing. The film had hit the theatres in January 2019 but was panned by both the audience and critics. Nevertheless, it seems the actor has moved on swiftly to his next project, RRR.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film is said to be a fictional story about India’s freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively. Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Ram Charan in the film. RRR is tipped to be a pan India film, which will be released in multiple languages.
