We had previously reported that Mallika Sherawat will be returning to Kollywood with a film that is being directed by Vadivudaiyan. Now the Pottu director has announced through social media that the first schedule of the movie Pambattam is over and Mallika Sherawat will be joining them for the second schedule. He tweeted, “#Pambattam – First schedule wrapped and @mallikasherawat joining hands for second schedule.”
Jeevan of Naan Avan Illai fame is acting in Pambattam and Yashika Aannand is also part of the movie. The film is said to be a horror-thriller and it is reported that Bollywood beauty will play a queen in the movie. Mallika had earlier played an important role in Kamal Haasan’s Dasavathaaram in 2008. She also had appeared in a special number, Kalasala, in Simbu‘s Osthe that released in 2011. Amresh, who worked with Vadivudaiyan for Pottu, will be composing the music for Pambattam as well.
Mallika was last seen in a web series whereas Vadivudayan is also making a historical war film, Veeramadevi,
which is being produced by Ponse Stephen. The film stars Sunny Leone in her Tamil debut as Veeramadevi alongside Navdeep.
