The pan-Indian film is touted to be based on a true story regarding the biggest IT scam. The lead actors play scamsters in the film and the trailer promises a gripping action drama. Launching the trailer, Megastar Chiranjeevi wrote, “Here is the trailer of #Mosagallu ,Based on a true story, one of the biggest IT scams that shook the USA. All the best Dear @iVishnuManchu & Best wishes to the entire team.” (sic) Actor Suneil Shetty plays the role of an honest police officer who wants to bust the scam.

The film directed by American filmmaker Jeffrey has been shot in various countries. The film was supposed to hit screens in June 2020 but due to the pandemic, release was halted. Vishnu had hit the gym for this role as it requires some high-octane action. The film will hit screens on March 18 this year in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Vishnu has also produced the film, apart from acting in it. Further details are awaited.
