The film, which also has ‘Kohinoor’ fame Aparna Das, Biju Sopanam, Jaffer Idukki, Harisree Ashokan, veteran actor Ashokan, Sphadikam George and ‘Thamasha’ fame Uma K P in major roles, is a feel-good family entertainer, reveals director Antony.
He says, “We will start the shoot on March 14, and it is set completely in Kochi. The first day shoot is scheduled in a police station set, and we would finalise the location soon.” Quiz him about the characters of the lead actors, and Antony tells us, “Sharafudheen plays the lead character named Priyan. He is a homeo doctor, by profession and is a man, who is forever busy. He is also a family man whom all of us can relate to.” The director is tight-lipped about Nyla Usha’s character. He says, “There is a suspense element in their combination and so, at the moment, I can’t speak about it.”
In Antony’s directorial debut C/O Saira Banu, which was released in the year 2017, he had worked with the likes of Manju Warrier, Amala Akkineni and Shane Nigam. The movie was also the one that served for Amala’s return to Malayalam cinema after a break of 25 years. The film had Manju playing the character of a post woman and Amala Akkineni as a renowned lawyer.
