A lot has been going on in Preeti and KT’s life with the latter’s mother pressurizing the couple for a baby. KT’s mother Kushaala even takes Preeti to the doctor to see if the latter is ready for motherhood.
While Preeti unexpectedly learns that she has ovarian cancer and is unable to give birth, she decides to convince KT for surrogacy. The makers have also introduced a new character Dnyanada Ramtirthkar aka Phurti, in the couple’s lives. Phurti turns to be Preeti’s distant cousin, who agrees to be a surrogate mother.
