Tamannaah heaps praise on ‘Gaali Sampath’ trailer: Calls it fabulous

Slice-of-life films are very rare in Telugu cinema and ‘Gaali Sampath’ certainly seems to fall under the category. The trailer of the film was unveiled by SS Rajamouli on Saturday morning and it promises to be a roller-coaster ride of fun, laughter, tears and heart-warming moments. Starring Rajendra Prasad and Sree Vishnu as a speech-impaired father and dumb middle-aged son, the film is directed by ‘Ala Ela’ fame Anish Krishna with screenplay and dialogues penned by Anil Ravipudi. The acclaimed filmmaker has also supervised the direction of the family drama which is slated for a release on March 11.

The 2-minute clip of Gali Sampath starts off on a funny note when the speech-impaired titular character played by Rajendra Prasad wants to get into films. However, his middle-aged son played by Sree Vishnu finds the idea ridiculous and discourages him with hurtful comments. Things turn serious when the father accidentally fells into a deep pit and gasps for breath. His fight for survival and his son’s redemption form the remaining proceedings.

Upon hitting the internet, the trailer of Gali Sampath has been receiving praises from several T-Town celebrities. While Tamannaah Bhatia called the promo fabulous and hailed Anil for attempting something unconventional, Varun Tej, Nara Rohith, Bobby, BVS Ravi and Shiva Nirvana couldn’t stop complimenting the trailer. Tamannaah and Varun are currently starring in Anil Ravipudi’s F3.
