‘Valimai’: Ajith’s action drama will be edited by Vijay Velukutty

Ajith has joined hands with director H Vinoth for the second time for the film titled ‘Valimai‘ which was launched in December 2019. However, the film’s process was delayed because of the Corona attack, and the 2020 Diwali release was postponed to a later date. Now, the latest update regarding ‘Valimai’ is that Ajith’s action drama will be edited by Vijay Velukutty. Director H Vinoth, who has worked with different editors in all his films so far, has roped in Vijay Velukutty of ‘Jackpot’ and ‘Sangu Chakkaram’ fame to edit ‘Valimai’.

While few directors carry the same editor for their films, ‘Valimai’ director H Vinoth goes the new way. It might be the director’s plan of presenting his film in a fresh method, and the post-production work for ‘Valimai’ has begun. Except for the foreign schedule, the ‘Valimai’ shooting has been completed, and the team will be probably heading to Spain in April to shoot some important action sequence.

Ajith will be seen as an IPS officer Eeswaramoorthy in ‘Valimai’, and the film is packed with action sequences. Ajith will be fighting against multiple villains in the film, and it also has Huma Qureshi, Karthikeya, Raj Ayappa, Sumithra, and others. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music, and the film is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor in association with Zee Studios.
