Ashok Selvan, Priya Bhavani Shankar’s film wraps up

It was announced late last year that Ashok Selvan and Priya Bhavani Shankar will be teaming up for a film, which will be directed by Sumanth Radhakrishnan of ‘Sadhuram 2’ fame. The film, which is touted to be an adaptation of the Malayalam film ‘Adi Kapyaare Kootamani’, has wrapped up shoot recently.

The team took to social media to announce the same and shared photos from the last day on the set. In an earlier interview with us, Sumanth had told us that Ashok will be playing a college student in this film. He said, “The film is a comedy entertainer, set in a hostel. Ashok plays the role of a final year student, while Priya plays his love interest. After seeing ‘Oh My Kadavule’, I felt Ashok would be apt for the script and told him the one-line of this script. He liked it, and later finished the script work, and sent Ashok to look into it. He liked it and we got him on-board. Priya, too, was my first choice. I wanted someone with a girl-next-door appeal, and she is someone who is known in all platforms. It will be a fresh pairing, too.”

This film will also feature Nasser, Munishkanth, ‘Kalakka Povathu Yaaru’ fame Yogi and Ravi Maria, with music by Bobo Sashi. The director had also told us that more members from the show are part of the film!
