Post her meeting with the princess of the royal family of Jaipur, Diya Kumari, over high tea, Ekta Kapoor will also be meeting Mamta Bhupesh, the Minister of Women and Child Development, Public Grievances Redressal, Minority Affairs, Waqf in the government of Rajasthan, for dinner.
A few days ago, it was reported that Ekta would pay a visit to the Ajmer Sharif dargah on March 5 to seek blessings ahead of the launch of her new show.
On the work front, Ekta has produced several strong women-centric narratives like ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’, ‘The Dirty Picture.’ and ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitaare’. Talking to IANS, Ekta had earlier said, “I have told several stories of conservative women who have household issues; now it’s time I tell stories of women who have other issues. Every woman in different stages of their life have choices, and it’s their choice. They don’t become good or bad by any of their choices.”
