Chiranjeevi has been a bonafide megastar for more than four decades now. He made his presence felt in some of the biggest commercial money-spinners some of which turned out to be huge landmarks in the history of Indian cinema. On the other hand, his son Ram Charan catapulted into the league of superstars with a terrific performance in the blockbuster ”Magadheera”. The baap-beta had been waiting for a fabulous offer to share celluloid space, but things hadn’t worked in their favour till ”Acharya” came along. With a brilliant storyline backing their association, this is a sure shot box office winner in hand.
Previously, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan were seen doing cameos in each other’s projects, whether it’s ”Magadheera” or ”Bruce Lee” or ”Khaidi No. 150”, a film that happened to be Chiru’s comeback film. ”Acharya” will be the first-ever movie where the two stars have joined hands together for longer individual innings.
Both of them have enjoyed supreme love from the audience and filmgoers. With ”Acharya”, love has only multiplied. No other father-son duo in the country can boast of a bigger fan following together than Ram and Chiru. With SS Rajamouli’s ”RRR” releasing right after, Ram Charan is en route to becoming one of the biggest pan-India heroes we have today! Chiranjeevi, on the other hand, has been a living Indian legend for the last 40 years. Now, ”Acharya” featuring the father-son duo for the first time has already upped the euphoria!
