‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’: Pawan Kalyan looks flamboyant as a heroic outlaw

The title and first glimpse of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film with acclaimed director Krish Jagarlamudi is out and it promises to be a visual extravaganza with power-packed action sequences. Titled ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’, the period drama is set against the backdrop of the bygone era and it features Pawan as a rebellious outlaw who takes on the perpetrators. Sporting a red scarf flying over his shoulders, the 49-year-old actor can be seen making a stunning entry through the air and pulling off riveting stunts with a spear in hand.

Draped in a black ensemble, Pawan looks flamboyant in the promo and the caption “The Legendary Heroic Outlaw” adds curiosity to the proceedings. The thunderous background score composed by MM Keeravani will certainly give goosebumps and the cinematography by Gnanashekar VS is top-notch. Sharing the glimpse on his social handle, Krish wrote “Prepare for the Epic Adventure of #HariHaraVeeraMallu -The Legendary Heroic Outlaw – ✨#PowerStar #PawanKalyan ✨”

Slated for a worldwide release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi, the big-budget project is scheduled to hit the theaters on Sankranthi 2022 and the makers have recently canned some crucial portions on Pawan Kalyan and Arjun Rampal in the specially-erected sets of Charminar and Machilipatnam port in Hyderabad. While the Bollywood actor is reportedly playing the role of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, Sri Lankan bombshell Jacqueline Fernandez is rumoured to play the role of his sister. While an official confirmation regarding the same is still awaited from the makers, Nidhhi Agerwal has recently been finalised as the leading lady of the film.

Sai Madhav Burra is penning the dialogues for ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’’ and Ram-Laxman will be choreographing the action sequences along with Sham Kaushal and Dileep Subbarayan. VFX supervisor Ben Lock, the mastermind behind the graphic work in films like ‘Aquaman’, ‘Warcraft’, ‘Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens’ has been roped in for the project.
