Now, DD holidays in Maldives

Maldives has become one of the hot favourite destinations for celebrities to head to for holiday. Ever since the lockdown was lifted, celebs have been heading to the paradise island during the pandemic to beat the blues. After Samantha Akkineni, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Raiza Wilson, and most recently, K’tow’s cute couple Vishnu Vishal and Jwala Gutta, DD aka Dhivyadharshini headed to Maldives for a short vacation.

The anchor and actor flooded her Instagram stories with pictures from the beach destination and cheekily added that there will be no bikini pictures. In her long post, she said, “Something about the sunset which makes me forget all the pain. Much awaited, needed and earned vacation in MALAITHEEVU #MALADIVES. It’s not just about bikini, it has great healing energy, because of the sea, mother nature’s sings you her lullaby and soothes you from all the stress. Believe me travel makes you a better person, tourism industry provides intangible product and it helps you as a person. So, travel as much as you can.”

Looks like DD had a whale of a time enjoying her vacay in Maldives. On the workfront, she will be seen in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiram‘, which has Vikram in the lead role. She will also be making her Telugu debut as a lead actress in ‘Romantic’. The anchor has also been hosting special shows and will take up more TV projects as well.
