With web series, music videos and Bollywood projects keeping him super busy, will Parth ever get back to the world of television? “Right now, I am very happy exploring various platforms. At least for now, I am not in the frame of mind to go back to the world of television,” he shares.
‘I want to be a better version of my own self’
Along with his acting skills, Parth has also garnered attention for his good looks and physique on social media. Deeply into fitness, the actor never misses out on his fitness regime and has been following a strict diet also. He says, “Fitness is part of a healthy lifestyle not just for me, but everyone. I see a lot of people getting into it to have a fit body. I am very serious about my fitness-not because I want to look better than others with an attractive body, but because I just want to be a better version of my own self. I am not competing with anyone to look good or more handsome than others. I love to work out and fitness has been a focal point in my life. Along with workouts, I also follow a strict diet chart.” The actor has been really working hard to stay healthy and for that, he has even requested his fans not to send him birthday cakes as he won’t be able to eat them. Parth will be celebrating his birthday on March 11. He says, “Birthday gifts and cakes have already started pouring in. As I am following a strict diet and cannot eat the cakes, I have requested my fans not to send any more cakes. In fact, I want them to distribute these cakes among poor children.”
‘Will ring in my 30th birthday in Goa’
The actor, who will be turning 30, does not want to miss out on the birthday fun. “Since we are still struggling with COVID-19 and Maharashtra is witnessing a surge in the cases, I am planning a Goa trip with my folks. Along with my friends, I want to chill, relax and celebrate. Staying safe and healthy is more important. Recently, I went to Pune to meet my mom and got to know that all the eateries and restaurants are being shut at night. It’s better to take all precautions while celebrating,” he feels.
‘I like it when people say that their nani is my fan’
Parth, who has been working in showbiz for almost a decade, has done TV shows as well as films. He gained popularity with Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, but his popularity grew by leaps and bounds with Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Talking about his massive fan base, the actor says, “Everything happens slowly and gradually. When I did my first show, I was very new in the entertainment industry and things were really different. But after doing Kasautii, a lot of things changed. My friends, relatives, people in my housing society- everybody knew that I’m the one playing Anurag Basu. And it really makes me feel good. What’s more fascinating is when people come and tell me, ‘My nani is a big fan of yours’ or ‘My dadi loves watching the show because of you’. That makes me happier because it means that people belonging to the older generation also like my work and appreciate me as an actor. That’s the best compliment for me.”
