Richa, in an interview, also said that she hoped that with theatres opening their doors after a long hiatus, Bollywood would get back on track. The actress said that given the current situation, cinema halls needed a big boost. She also hoped that the government would lower taxes on ticket prices especially keeping in mind the huge losses that theatre and multiplex owners had gone through in the past 12 months. Richa said that although many people were scared to visit cinema halls, things would eventually get better. Lower ticket prices, she said, would also attract more audiences, which was the need of the hour.
In her recent Instagram throwback post, Richa addressed the Covid situation and wrote, “Bougainvillea! Circa 2020, a few days before the world shut down, we were preening in Goa at @turiyavilla for a shoot… with the best make up artist in the whole world @tanujadabirmakeup and the best at what he does @imanojj and entha enthu cutlet @harryrajput64 ! We shot and discussed this odd thing called COVID. We joked that we’ll be locked indoors. And we were, for 9 whole months. Am grateful we can move around now… but let’s mask up and not take this freedom for granted.”
