The actor was spotted out and about in the city, driving his black SUV and looking relieved to be back home. Allu Arjun was in Kerala to shoot for a schedule of Pushpa and returned back to the city post wrapping that. He has numerous fans in Kerala, apart from the Telugu states, so it’s interesting that the makers canned some scenes there. Allu Arjun has been shooting back-to-back schedules for Pushpa at a brisk pace, hoping to wrap it up in time for its August 13 release.

Directed by Sukumar, the rural drama will also see Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. The film tells the story of a coolie-turned-red sanders-smuggler called Pushpa Raj and the ‘stylish star’s rustic look is a revelation for his fans. Shooting for the film picked up after unlock and a few scenes were canned even in the rural areas of Telangana and AP. It’s a first for Allu Arjun to play a role like this, so it remains to be seen how it’ll be received. Rashmika Mandanna even picked up a Chittoor accent for the film. Expectations are high as Sukumar’s last film Rangasthalam showed a whole new side of Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni. Further details are awaited.
