Thaman confirms film with Vijay; picks Aal Thotta Boopathi as his favourite Thalapathy song

There were speculation earlier that Thaman will compose music for #Thalapathy65. The singer-music director had also spoke about the same during an interview to a Telugu channel last year. However, it was later announced that Vijay’s 65th film which will have Nelson wielding the megaphone has Anirudh as its composer. On Thursday, during a chat with fans on Twitter, Thaman confirmed again that he will be scoring music for a Vijay film soon.

To a question posed by a Vijay fan which read, ‘Shall we expect your collaboration with thalapathy @actorvijay soon’, he replied, ‘Yes yes’ with a smiley. He also said that All Thotta Boopathi from Youth is his favourite song from a Vijay film.

He also went on to express his admiration for Suriya when a fan of the the latter asked him when he will team up with his matinee idol. Thaman termed Suriya as a lovely person and said he has immense regard for the actor’s NGO. His reply read, “I love Surya sir very versatile lovely human. I am a very big follower of his Agaram foundation.”

Thaman also said he is waiting to work for an Ajith-starrer and added that he will be working for a Sivakarthikeyan-starrer, too. He also went on to say that AR Rahman is his favourite music composer and termed Mahendra Singh Dhoni as his favourite cricketer.
