Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon meet Arunachal Pradesh CM before kicking off the shoot of their film ‘Bhediya’

After Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, and Abhishek Banerjee were spotted arriving at Arunachal Pradesh for the film shoot of their upcoming horror-comedy ‘Bhediya’, the film team has now met the Honorable Chief Minister of the state, Pema Khandu ahead of their film schedule.

Others present at the meet were Sh. Bamang Felix, Minister of home and interstate affairs, Sh Naresh Kumar, Chief Secretary Sh. Sonam Chombey, and more.

Earlier, Varun Dhawan had commenced his ‘Bhediya’ shooting schedule in Arunachal Pradesh with a howl in his latest video.

Talking about the film, ‘Bhediya’ will be helmed by director Amar Kaushik. It will star Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, Abhishek Banerjee & Deepak Dobriyal in the lead roles. It will also mark the second collaboration between Dhawan and Sanon after Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

While the film script is written by National Award Winner, Niren Bhatt who had also penned ‘Bala’ and ‘Made In China’, it’s being backed by Jio Studios & producer Dinesh Vijan.

‘Bhediya’ is slated to release in theatres on 14th April 2022.
