While he’s also making his debut with the Hindi remake of the same film and is currently busy with that, there were rumours that he met Ram Charan to discuss his next film. These reports specially intensified after his film won a National Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. It was even said that while an official announcement is awaited, the RRR actor has even okayed the script. Refuting them he clarified in a recent TV interview that he has not locked in on his next script yet.
He said, “I did not even finish my next script as I’m busy with the post-production of the Hindi remake of Jersey. I am occupied with many things currently and it’s only once that film releases will I be able to concentrate on my next. As of now, I have no one in mind for my next script, nor did I meet or narrate it to anyone. What I do know is that it’ll be in Telugu.”
Gowtam Tinnanuri’s Nani and Shraddha Srinath starrer Jersey has bagged two National Awards recently.
