Sushant Singh Rajput passed away at his Bandra residence and his untimely death sparked an intensive probe that involved the Central Bureau of Investigation taking over the matter. Simultaneously, Sushant’s death was also probed by the forensic medicine department of AIIMS who concluded that it was a case of hanging and death by suicide. “There were no injuries on the late actor’s body other than the ones caused by hanging. We did not find any marks of struggle or scuffle on the body and clothes either,” said Dr Sudhir Gupta had told TOI, ruling out the murder probe.
Ahead of his death anniversary, Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister had shared on social media that she will take off to a solitary retreat. Shweta Singh Kirti had shared on Twitter, “I am going on a solitary retreat for the whole month of June in the mountains. I won’t have access to internet or cell services there. Bhai’s one year of passing on will be spent in cherishing his sweet memories in silence. Though his physical body has left us almost a year back, the values he stood for still live on.”
On the big screen, Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari directed ‘Chhichhore’, which won a National Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi this year.
