Prachi says, “It became forcefully private owing to the current scenario. My family is in Uttar Pradesh and they couldn’t come down because of the pandemic.”
The event was live-streamed for Prachi’s family and Mahat’s sister, who lives in Australia. “Even though it was a small ceremony, it was beautiful. My mother-in-law is a positive person and she ensured it was done in style. She followed all the rituals and decorated our place beautifully. We also had a delicious south Indian spread — with a lot of sweets and savouries. I thoroughly enjoyed all the pampering. And Mahat and Coco enjoyed bingeing on all the laddoos,” she laughs.
Mahat adds, “I’ve promised Prachi that we will host a grander function for all our family and friends after the baby arrives and the cases go down.”
