th birth anniversary of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, his son, actor Balakrishna visited NTR ghat to pay tribute to the late actor-politician.
Balakrishna visited the ghat on Friday morning and stated that a lesson on NTR must be included in the school syllabus. Talking to the media, the Akhanda actor said, “I’ve always felt like my father and legendary actor NT Rama Rao is watching over us. I watch his movies and they inspire me, filling me with positive energy. Whenever I feel low, I listen to his songs. NTR has always been a life lesson, so I wonder why a chapter on him is not included in school syllabuses. He has so much to teach the future generations. Wherever he is, he will always wish for the well-being of Telugu people.” On Friday, Megastar Chiranjeevi also took to social media to state that the late NTR must be conferred with a Bharat Ratna for his contributions to film and politics.
On the work-front, Balakrishna is currently playing the lead in Boyapati Srinu’s Akhanda. Pragya Jaiswal plays the female lead in the film that has music by Thaman S. The film was supposed to hit the screen this Friday but it was pushed due to the pandemic.
