Upon knowing her dire situation, actress Karate Kalyani did her part by donating some money and highlighted Syamala’s plight to the film fraternity through a video. Within no time, Megastar Chiranjeevi came forward and sent a cheque of Rs 1.015 lakh to Pavala Syamala through PRO Suresh Kondeti. He also got her a membership card in Movie Artists’ Association (MAA) through which she will be receiving a monthly pension of Rs 6K.

Conveying her heartfelt thanks to Tollywood’s senior hero, Syamala said “Earlier, when I was struggling from financial crisis, Chiranjeevi’s daughter came forward and donated me Rs 2 lakh. Now, upon knowing about my situation, they once again gave me Rs 1 lakh with a monthly pension as well. I will be forever indebted to him.”
Pavala Syamala is well-known for her roles in films such as Khadgam, Andhrawala, Babai Hotel and Golimaar, to name a few. In a long career spanning over 35 years, she has acted in almost 250 films and received many awards and rewards. The awards she received had to be sold for household maintenance.
