“I have been travelling and doing Mumbai-Chennai a lot because I had to wrap my film. So for me lockdown has been work and home with all the safety precautions. There’s nervousness but I feel more than that we all are now scared. Like if I am travelling if my temperature is slightly high at the airport I get nervous and just pray it is not COVID. But we have to follow all the safety guidelines and if we do that we can survive. To be honest I am very grateful to get work during the pandemic. But at the same time, I was worried about my mother because she is old and I didn’t want her to get any infection or illness because of me. I was worried about her and my mother was also equally tensed that it is not our country, how will be things there. I feel the tension of COVID is around the world and we have no other option to be safe and just live with it. This too shall pass very soon. We have to live and we have to get back to normal. You have to take care of ourselves. The minor changes that have come into our lives like hygiene, social distancing, wearing our masks, they have come because of a certain reason and we have to follow it. If we start implementing and following the guidelines we will survive and be safe,” she shared.
Talking about saying yes to Khatron Ke Khiladi, Sana shared that she has been a fan of the show, since season 1, she said, “I’ve been a fan of Khatron Ke Khiladi since the time Akshay Kumar hosted it. Everyone comes on the show to overcome their fear and even I have signed the show for the same. The show is very different because the stunts you do on the show you don’t do in your day to day life. You don’t jump from height, or do a stunt with creepy crawlies in your daily life. I feel it’s a once in a lifetime experience and I always wanted to do a show like this. I like when people overcome their fear. I am a full supporter of girls.”
The actress opened up about her phobia, she said, “There are many phobias that I want to overcome. I don’t know how to drive or swim. I didn’t know how to drive because I once had an accident, not anything major. I had banged my car in my parking area and from that time I have got this fear. So I have not been able to learn driving after that. I tried to learn driving but the moment I held the steering wheel I got scared and nervous. I am scared of water too. I enjoy water, like I am very fond of the beach. I am a beach baby, but at the same time I am scared of water. Like if you ask me, one death that you don’t want to have, I would say water. I also have a phobia of height. I don’t know what I am going to do on the show.”
When asked if she has managed to prepare for the show, Sana said, “Unfortunately, we have been offered this show at a time when everything is under lockdown. I wanted to learn how to swim but I couldn’t because swimming pools have been shut since last year. Gyms are also shut due to the pandemic so I couldn’t work my core, arm strength. I just want to pray to God and say just bless me (laughs).”
