An industry source said, “Kartik will begin shooting for the film once he completes ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’. He left SRK’s film as he didn’t like the script and even returned the signing amount. This is not going to affect anything as far as the Rohit Dhawan film is concerned. The actor is already prepping up for it and had several meetings for the film before the second lockdown.” Those close to the actor also revealed that he is upset with the way the exit is being read into but prefers to maintain silence.
Kartik’s next is the remake of the South film ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo’ and is being produced by Allu Arjun, Aman Gill, and Ekta Kapoor. Kartik also has Ram Madhvani’s ‘Dhamaka’ slated for a release on OTT. According to reports, Kartik is also is in talks with Hansal Mehta for a film, he has a gangster film produced by Anand L Rai, a Sajid Nadiadwala production, and a Luv Ranjan film with Nushrat Bharucha in the offing.
