While the actress is recovering from the deadly viral infection, today, she took to her social media page to ponder over the impact that the pandemic has left o the planet and the way forward for human beings as a species.
And it is a beehive on a tree in her home that seems to have triggered her thoughts.
Taking to her social media page, the Master actress wrote, “My friendly neighbourhood bees are back just in time for #lockdown 3.0.
From an evolutionary perspective, #bees are one of the most intelligent species on this #planet. Their roles are so clearly defined from birth, and they work together as a team to ensure the well-being of their hive.
From an evolutionary perspective, we #humanbeings probably evolved too fast for our own good. We’ve risen to the top of the food chain by unnatural methods, and in the process, caused the #extinction of many other species, both knowingly & unknowingly.
Now, as we face what is possibly the worst #global crisis of our #lifetime, I hope that people all around the world learn something from all of this… that we too need to work together as a team, to ensure the well-being of our own #species as well as that of every living thing on this planet… because it all adds up. I truly hope that we can rebuild a better, safer #world post-pandemic
