Shaheer said, “My parents got to see chaand a day before and therefore I already wished them Eid a day prior. I am missing my parents a lot and specially during Eid. These are tough times for all, and we don’t plan to have any celebration at home. I am just hoping for everyone’s safety and praying that the pandemic gets over.”
Ask Shaheer if he has planned anything special for his wife Ruchikaa today and he said, “Well, I plan to cook a special dish for her. I can’t prepare biryani but I can definitely make sheer khurma for her. In the past few years of my living in Mumbai, I have learnt how to cook simple dishes. Eid will be about doing simple yet special things for my wife and spending quality time with each other and talking to our family in Jammu.”
Shaheer is popular for his portrayal of Arjun in Siddharth Kumar Tewary‘s Mahabharat and he was last seen in Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. Shaheer got married in November last year, following a courtship of a year-and-a-half. They preferred to wed in a simple court marriage in Mumbai.
