The news was unveiled through an interesting poster that featured a sword pushed into the middle of the book with a red flag on top. While two armies can be seen gearing up to face off against each other, the picture has the caption “A time travel from evil to good.”

To be mounted on a hefty budget, the film is bankrolled by Kalyanram under NTR Arts. According to reports, the socio-fantasy casts Rakul Preet Singh as a journalist and Catherine Tresa essaying the role of a warrior queen. An official confirmation regarding the same is still awaited from the makers.
Kalyanram is rumoured to play dual roles in the film that has two timelines – the 13th century and the present. He will be reportedly seen as an infamous conqueror and a modern youth. The shooting is expected to resume once the ongoing situation gets back into normalcy.
Right from ‘Toli Choopulone’ in 2003, Kalyan Ram’s film journey has been nothing short of a roller-coaster ride filled with highs and lows. After the successive debacles of ‘Ism’ and ‘Naa Nuvve’ barring the average grosser ‘MLA’, the 42-year-old actor has finally bagged a solid hit in 2019 with ‘118’.
