Oduvil Unnikrishnan, who ventured into cinema by the late 1970s was identified for his soulful performance. His versatility, mannerisms, unique prowess in handling dialects made him popular among the cinephiles.
Some of his popular films include ‘Nizhalkuthu’, ‘Kathapurushan’, ‘Thooval Kottaram’, ‘Sargam’, ‘Yodha’, ‘Aaram Thamburan’ among others. He has also won the Kerala State Film Award for best actor once and for Best Supporting Actor twice.
