“Although I speak Hindi, I’m not as fluent as Bollywood stars are. Of course, I’m always open to do a Hindi film but that can only happen if I come across a solid and exciting script. The script should be so exciting that it should drive me to learn Hindi in no time,” Nani said.
Earlier, there was widespread speculation about Nani’s entry to Bollywood but the actor has cleared the air and said that nothing has been agreed upon yet. The actor’s 2019 blockbuster is currently being remade in Hindi, with Shahid Kapoor reprising his role of the jaded cricketer who makes a comeback in the twilight of his career.
Meanwhile, Nani’s Tuck Jagadish is ready for release and was slated to hit screens on April 23 but was postponed due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
