Pavala Syamala, who is well-known for her roles in films such as Khadgam, Andhrawala, Babai Hotel and Golimaar, to name a few, is currently living in a rented house and suffering from an illness. In a career spanning over 35 years, she has acted in almost 250 films and received many awards and rewards. The awards she received for her performance had to be sold for financial reasons. She is in a situation where she cannot even pay the rent of the house.
In the past, she has been helped by the Telangana government to get a pension of Rs 10,000 per month. She claimed that she is not receiving her pension regularly. Syamala is reportedly stated that she has not even paid the rent for the last three months. After knowing the critical situation, well-known artist Karate Kalyani did her part to help Syamala, who needs help. Kalyani also said that she would try to get help through the Movie Artist Association (MAA). She has also appealed to everyone to come forward to support Pavala Syamala.
