Recently the producers of the film, Lyca Productions, filed a case against director Shankar in the Madras High Court seeking a ban on him to direct any other film before the completion of the Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Indian 2’. While the judges had opined that a court order or judgement will not bring about an amiable situation in this issue and apparently directed both parties to come together and sort out the issue.
Now, director Shankar has listed a few points as the reasons for the delay in making of ‘Indian 2’. The accalimed director has sadi the Kamal Haasan had a make-up allergy after which the film was delayed due to the crane accident. He has clarified that he is not responsible for any loss incurred during the film’s production process, which was dealyed due to the corona curfew and other reasons.
Director Shankar has also earlier said that he needs to shoot the portions involving the actor Vivek again, since the star comedian had passed away recently. The case hearing has been adjourned to June 4.
