The much-awaited film is in production and due to the coronavirus pandemic, shooting has been put on hold. Talking about roping in Hollywood stunt choreographers Larnell Stovall and Vlad Rimburg, producer Sidhu Mudda said, “Larnell and Vlad have previously worked on Titans and the Bollywood film Sulthan. Seventy percent of the shoot of Ghani has been completed and we will shoot again once things are better.”
What’s more, the team will shoot at a specially erected set that looks like a packed stadium. “Varun Tej is practicing his boxing even during lockdown so that in the upcoming schedule, crucial scenes can be canned. Our art director has designed a huge stadium set for the purpose,” adds Sidhu. The actor has hit the gym hard for the role, looking buff than ever. Saiee Manjrekar plays the female lead in the film that also sees Nimma Upendra, Suniel Shetty and Naveen Chandra in key roles.
Varun Tej will be seen in a never-before-avatar in the film. Thaman S is composing tunes for the film that will see cinematography by George C Williams.
