He says, “Every year, thousands of men and women the world over put their lives in danger working in humanitarian causes all over the world. We have seen how during the pandemic lockdown they tried to make our life easy at home. Working in the most poverty and illness stricken environment, often in areas of great social violence, they put their lives on the line, and sometimes lose them in the pursuit of their goals. It’s high time for us to understand and remember these frontline heroes and their sacrifices.”
Panki,t who started his career in 2001 with Ekta Kapoor‘s popular TV serial ‘Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii‘ feels humanity is not just limited to humans. “When we say humanity, we can look at it from a lot of different perspectives. One of the most common ways of understanding it is that it is the value of kindness and compassion towards other beings. Most importantly, humanity does not just limit to humans but also involved caring for the environment and every living being. We must all come together to show true humanity and help out other humans, animals and our environment to heal and prosper,” he says.
