Yesteryear actress Manya has worked with Mammootty in two films – ‘Rakshasa Rajavu’ and ‘Aparichithan’. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes, Manya recalls her experience working with the Megastar.
“I was mesmerized by Mammukka (Mammootty), the first time I saw him. It was on the sets of ‘Rakshasa Rajavu’ and he was in the garb of a police officer. And I must say, he is one of the most handsome people I have ever seen in my life! He was so good-looking and even now looks the same. I follow him on social media and I am a big fan!” admits Manya.

The ‘Joker’ actress adds that she was even more awestruck by the person Mammootty is. “The best part about Mammukka is that he is so simple, and down to earth. For me, that was what I was most awestruck about. Mammuka sent me a message on this Mother’s Day saying Happy Mothers Day. I did two movies with him, but it was long back. I am not active in the industry, but still, he keeps that connection. It is beyond my imagination that I have done two movies with him,” she shares
When asked about any memorable moments she shared with Mammootty on the movie sets, Manya reveals, “A lot. Mammuka is very funny, he keeps cracking jokes. When we shot for ‘Aparichithan’ we had many scenes together, so there are a lot of memories. One thing that I clearly remember is that my mom likes to eat fish and Mammukka used to bring lunch from home, and he shared those fish dishes with my mom. I am vegetarian so I haven’t had it. Even today, my mom says that the fish Mammuka brought from his home was the tastiest fish she has ever had.”
