Recently, it was alleged that the duo were a part of a multi-crore scam along an app called Super Backer by promoting the app in their channel videos. Both Gopi and Sudhakar have come up with a clarification video in their you tube channel to brush off the allegations that were made against them on misusing the money of their subscribers.
The popular duo have stated that the said app Super Backer approached them for promotion and just like other such businesses they promoted it but have no connection with its developers. They have also clarified that COVID 19 lockdown is the reason for delay in starting their movie ‘Hey Money Come Today Go Tomorrow Ya’.
“Ever since we started the project, they are involving it as an added issue whenever a problem comes to light. Even if anyone else gets into a problem, they are dragging us and involving us in it. After starting the project, we didn’t get ourselves committed in any other movies and are fully focused on completing it,” said Gopi and Sudhakar.
“Once the teaser of our film gets released, you (subscribers) will come to know why we delayed,” concluded the duo.
SAK, who has worked as an assistant cinematographer for a couple of years, and as a script doctor with directors like KS Ravikumar, Dharani, PS Mithran of Irumbu Thirai fame, and choreographer-turned-director Kalyan, is the director of the film.
