She tells Kartik that she knows they share a special bond and she understood this when he came after her to Dalhousie. She insists he tells the truth to his family before she leaves. She says she will go and talk to them first and he can support her. But he tells her they will continue this drama until they prove themselves. Kartik thinks this will give him time to tell her about his feelings.
Dadi prepares for Janmashtami. She wants Kartik to become Krishna and Sirat to play Radha. She insists he moves on with Sirat and does it for the kids as well. She tells them to start preparing it. Sirat and Kartik put up an excuse but Dadi refuses to listen to them. Kartik then promises that Radha and Krishna would be there.
Later, Sirat reprimands him for it. She warns him that people would hate them for acting as husband-wife. Kartik tells her he has planned to get artists who will play Radha and Krishna. Sirat is relieved.
The next day, Kartik learns that Narendra Chauhan’s flight has been cancelled and he is in town until the next day. Kartik gets another call informing him that artists, who were supposed to perform at their function, won’t be able to make it due to heavy rains. This makes Kartik worried.
Sirat, however, manages the situation by introducing Kairav and Akshu as Radha and Krishna. Kartik imagines Sirat and him when they perform. He later thanks Sirat for teaching the kids in no time.
After the performance, Kartik notices the media at the door. The family is ridiculed once again. Sirat this time begins to fight with the family and claims their relationship is transactional. She walks out of the Goenka house.
